On 11 May a new exhibition of Peter Randall-Page’s drawings and prints opens at Castle Drogo. One of the highlights of the show is the 7m wide ‘Rorschach Screen’ with its mirror image panels of drawings that reference the bi-lateral symmetry of Rorschach ink blots. Other works focus on obsevations of the natural world and include delicate linocuts of botanical and animal subjects. Recent prints such as Honeysuckle, Figs, Spiders and Frogs are shown alongside Peter’s early studies of exquisite seed pods. The exhibition accompanies Peter’s sculptures ‘Fructus, Corpus and Phyllotaxus which can be viewed in the Castle Grounds.
