Crucible 2 – 100 artworks by 61 artists and sculptors go on display at Gloucester Cathedral. Peter Randall-Page exhibits ‘Mother Tongue 1998’ as part of the exhibition (pictured above).
Curated by Gallery Pangolin, the exhibition will span both inside the Cathedral and outside in the grounds.
It includes the work: Kenneth Armitage’s symbolic ‘Reach for the Stars’; Lynn Chadwick’s bold ‘Jubilee IV’; Jon Buck’s colourful ‘In Man’s Nature’; Terence Coventry’s ‘Monumental Gannet Head’; Charlotte Meyer’s blooming ‘Thornflower’; and William Pye’s water sculpture ‘Vesqua’. Plus sculpture from Ann Christopher and Sue Freeborough.
