In 1982, Serpentine Galleries hosted three summer shows. The final summer show of the 1982 season was selected from an open submission by Richard Francis who was assistant curator at the Tate Gallery at the time and a member of the Arts Council. Artists included Shirazeh Houshiary and Sharon Kivland. Peter Randall-Page displayed his work ‘Fruit Gatherers, 1982’ (pictured above) on the Serpentine Gallery lawn.
