'Eginja Eriyimba' translates as 'Singing Rock' from Luganda, the language of the Baganda people of Lolui Island, Uganda where the sculpture is situated.

Commissioned by theRuwnzori Sculpture Foundation as part of their 'Rock Music, Rock Art' project.
