Dartmoor Arts Project – Summer School 2007

This is an invitation to book places on our 2007 Summer School and on our artist talks and music Events 2007.The summer school will be based in and around Veet Mill Farm and the village of Drewsteignton, located within the Dartmoor National Park.
Summer School 2007:
The Dartmoor Arts Project Summer School 2007 is a two-week programme of eighteen courses including:
Painting; Photography; Drawing; Stone Carving; Iron Casting; Film Making; Ceramics; Printmaking; Performance Skills; Poetry and Cob.
The Dartmoor Arts Project, represents a wide range of artists, who, as tutors are expert in different mediums, with diverse ideas and attitudes - during the two weeks they aim to provide:
- An experimental and supportive environment
- The opportunity for developing artists to learn through working alongside experienced practitioners
- Needs-based tuition workshops in the skills that aid the artist in developing and articulating an individual voice
- A high level of debate and critical engagement, closing the gap between theory and practise
- The chance for artists from all over the world to stimulate one another by showing work, running workshops, giving lectures and making practical collaborations
